Fresh and linear, the 2022 Red Chassagne-Montrachet Vieilles Vigne, crafted from 50-year-old vines, showcases perfectly ripe and precise flavours. Its refined texture, depth, and elegance are truly captivating, with excellent ageing potential.Vinification:
Hand harvested. 100% de-stemmed. Vatting for a fortnight with minimum intervention. Aged for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, 15-20% of which are new, then 4-6 months in vats before bottling.Vines on 0.83 ha, in 4 different localities: Bataudes, En l'Ormeau, Bouchon de Corvée and Les Houillères, planted in 1972 and 1979, organically grown (without certification).
