From a 1.4 hectare plot planted in 1954 located at the top of the Clos, the 2017 Red Clos Vougeot Grand Cru benefits from a perfect aging in barrels that preserves all the subtlety of the fruity aromas. A typical example of this terroir, cold in its tannin feel, the wine displays a perfect mineral texture, with an incredible finesse on the palate. The intense flavors of fruit are slightly spicy, is linked to a finish of great elegance; a great pinot built to last. A masterpiece!
A new treasure of the Burgundy region, the Domaine d’Eugénie is now hailed as one of the most beautiful estates of the Côtes-de-Nuits appellation. Located in Vosne-Romanée, property of François Pinault (Château Latour, Château Grillet, Clos de Tart) since 2006, it benefits from luxurious care, ensured by its director Frédéric Engerer who presides over the destiny of the group's wines.
Their vineyard of barely 5 hectares is following a biodynamic culture (certified organic since the 2020 vintage), and includes parcels ideally located on the Vosne-Romanée appellation, with a splendid and rare Grands-Echezeaux, and a beautiful Clos-Vougeot.
