Wine:

The 2022 white Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey is a delightful, complex, and very fresh Chardonnay. Benefiting from a careful aging process, half of which is done in oak, it reveals a refined elegance and full maturity. A natural charmer with a lovely minerality, it is a splendid gastronomic wine, perfect for pairing with fine fish or exquisite shellfish. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Mechanical harvesting, 6-month vinification in stainless steel tanks for 50% of the crop, and in demi-muids and oak barrels for the remaining 50%, with low-temperature alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation.
Aged 7 months in stainless steel tanks.
