From the coveted mid-slope "du dessus" vines, spanning just 40 ares, the 2022 White Meursault Charmes 1er Cru delivers a generous and captivating profile, supported by a well-judged oak presence. Fresh, ripe, and precise, it reveals impressive complexity, vibrant energy, and perfectly balanced concentration. The palate is long and silky, with remarkable finesse, making it a wine built for aging. Quantities are extremely limited. Rated 96/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, vinified and aged on fine lees in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new, for 24 months.

Color:

Bright, light golden yellow.

Nose:

Elegant, pure chalky notes underlined by a fine oaky blond note.

Palate:

Smooth and refined, this precise cuvée showcases impressive complexity, delivering a concentrated yet perfectly balanced profile.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Semi-cooked foie gras, creamed skate wings, sweetbread "bouchées à la reine".
