Wine:

From the vines "up above" in the mid-slope, on barely 40 ares, the 2022 white Meursault Charmes 1er cru unfurls a broad and charming juice, supported by a noticeable aging process. Fresh, ripe, and precise, it presents beautiful complexity, brightness, and a concentration perfectly balanced by its finesse. This is a long and silky wine on the palate, crafted for aging. Quantities are limited. Rated 96/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, vinified and aged on fine lees in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new, for 24 months.

Color:

Bright, light golden yellow.

Nose:

Elegant, pure chalky notes underlined by a fine oaky blond note.

Palate:

Suave and fine, this precise, complex cuvée offers a juice of great concentration and perfect balance.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Semi-cooked foie gras, creamed skate wings, sweetbread "bouchées à la reine".

From now until 2033, and even longer for enthusiasts.
