Domaine Parigot's Clos de la Perrière Red 2009 is lively and sharp on entry. On the palate, we find delicious notes of red fruit, particularly burlat cherries. Behind a lovely tannic frame, at half its full force, the wine blossoms out into a long, equally fruity finish.Vinification:
Hand harvested, 100% de-stalked, cold maceration for 8 days, punching of the cap, slow fermentation over 12 days, 12 months cask aging, racking, fining and bottling in December.Color:
Lovely, sustained peony colour.Nose:
Ripe and intense on the nose, aromas of red fruit, particularly morello cherries.Palate:
Well structured on the palate and endowed with attractive tannic power. There are very ripe fruit notes in this vintage.
