Ideally situated to the south of the Pommard appellation, on the border with Volnay, the 2020 red Pommard 1er Cru Les Jarollières was flawless in this great vintage. Complex, racy, well-proportioned around an imposing tannic framework without harshness, it unfurls perfectly ripe fruit. Built for long aging.

La Pousse d'Or is a remarkable estate, solidly established in Volnay and run by the Landanger family, which explores all the facets of Burgundy's sophistication. Its magnificent heritage of vines - 7 Grands Crus, 3 Monopoles, and 11 Premiers Crus - allows it to influence the entire Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. 

Biodynamic work, gentle vinification, and careful maturation on lees in barrels are the prerequisites for this success which are embodied in wines with evocative names, from Chambolle-Musigny to Pommard, including Volnay, of course, Puligny-Montrachet, Bonnes-Mares, Corton, Échezeaux or Morey-Saint-Denis.
