A masterpiece in every sense, the 2020 white Montrachet Grand Cru Marquis de Laguiche stands among Burgundy’s finest treasures. The nuanced and complex nose unfolds layers of floral aromas like lily of the valley and vine blossom, intertwined with hints of exotic fruit, honey, and roasted almond, gradually revealing notes of fine woods. On the palate, it achieves perfect harmony, balancing power and elegance with extraordinary delicacy. The finish is remarkably long, underscoring the wine’s finesse and leaving a lasting impression. Truly, a symphony in a glass.Vinification:
Hand-harvested in ventilated crates with meticulous sorting, the grapes are gently pressed whole using a pneumatic press. The free-run juice is carefully separated from the final press juice. After settling, the whites go directly into barrels, where both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, followed by aging, take place. The wine is aged for 18 to 21 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new.Color:
