Wine:
Beautifully aged in barrels, without any new wood, the 2020 white Burgundy Grand Elevage brings out the full strength of the terroirs of Viré, Charnay, and Pierreclos. The aromas of almond and hazelnut, exotic fruits, as well as lightly woody notes form a very elegant nose. The palate is dense, powerful, and very fresh, with a superb richness. This is an excellent definition of Chardonnay, combining maturity and freshness with a sober finish.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Vinification in oak barrels, no new wood.Color:
