Wine:
A Côte de Beaune flagship that has become increasingly rare in recent vintages, the 2020 white Meursault opens on a background of toasty notes with a hint of vanilla, developing a lovely fruity-floral character with nuances of white peach and hawthorn. Full-bodied and well-balanced, animated by a beautiful minerality and supported by a fine aging process carried out entirely in barrels, this wine persists for a long time in full delicacy. Ideal with cooked fish or poultry.Vinification:
Hand harvested, vinified for 6 weeks to 2 months in oak barrels, aged for 14 to 16 months in oak barrels, 15 to 35% of which are new.Color:
Bright, clear golden yellow.Nose:
Fragrances of white peach underscored by toasty, vanilla notes.Palate:
Rich and full-bodied, with fresh, delicate flavors of fruit, this beautifully mineral wine releases well-balanced juice, with well-integrated ageing and great persistence.
