Wine:

With its distinctive style, far from Provençal archetypes, the 2022 Figari Rosé Corse takes full advantage of its identity. It's a broad, invigorating rosé with fatness, texture, fresh citrus fruit, and juicy flavors of white fruit. Its body and great finesse are appreciated. One of Corsica's finest rosés, it's perfect with baked fish or pan-fried prawns.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Traditional vinification, whole grapes pressed. Aged in stainless steel vats for 5 to 6 months.

Certified organic wine. (not mentioned on back label).

Color:

Light rosé with coppery highlights.

Nose:

Freshly scented with fruity notes of Morello cherries and pink berries.

Palate:

Subtle and delicate, this wine offers an airy, refined, chiselled rosé. Its perfect balance is appreciated, revealing a thirst-quenching, elegant palate.

Serve between 8 and 10°C

Aperitif, grilled fish, brochettes of gambas with spices, sea urchin cream served in its shell.

This exemplary winemaker produces some of the most spectacular grand crus in the Mediterranean arc, with unmatched fresh and saline expressions, thus writing some of the finest chapters in Corsican viticulture with an impeccable range.
