Wine:

Rated 99 by Parker, the 2021 Red Montsant Espectacle is a true marvel. According to the renowned American guide, this is the most elegant vintage ever produced by the estate. In this cooler year, the finesse is unmatched, with a texture that’s silkier than ever. The tannins are like taffeta, and the fruity, powdered, and spiced notes of this pure Grenache exude grace and sensuality. Vinification:

Hand harvested in 20kg crates. Destemming, gentle crushing, 4 to 5 weeks of maceration. Aged in 4000L vats for 14 to 16 months.

Intense garnet red with purplish highlights.

Nose:

Intensely spicy on the first nose, opening onto a floral bouquet of dried rose.

Palate:

Luscious, fresh and opulent, this wine releases a spicy, velvety frame through numerous tannins on a magnificently long persistence.
