An icon of the Loire Valley and Jurançon, Domaine Didier Dagueneau is an absolute reference for any wine lover. Exceptional flavors of fruit, freshness, and vertiginous persistence: the wines are simply unforgettable. Almost inaccessible to private individuals, reserved for the finest tables, the wines are sold privately, and only a few lucky people can get close to them.
The article in our magazine described this success in detail: the long maturation on lees remains the basis of an absolute quest for the crystalline expression of the grape variety, enhanced by a meticulous maturation in wood, in 320-liter (cigars) or 600-liter (tons) barrels. This is a complete masterpiece, and Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau, who has been at the helm for ten years, tactfully perpetuates the spirit of craftsmanship and excellence initiated by his father.
It is therefore a pleasure to offer here some of the most beautiful expressions of his terroirs of Sancerre and Jurançon (Jardins de Babylone), certainly among the most fascinating in the world!
