Wine:

Originating from a hillside where limestone is prominent, the 2021 white Saumur Les Pentes is a marvel of purity and salinity, ranking among the most exciting Chenins of the moment. Skillfully balancing concentration, chalky intensity, and refinement, this resplendent white proudly asserts its status as one of the greatest from the Loire! It has been rated 95/100 by RVF.

Vinification:

Manual harvest. Selection of grapes from the top of the plot. Fermented and aged for 24 months in 25hl Stokinger tuns. Production limited to 3100 bottles and 100 magnums.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C in a large glass.
