Wine:

Made predominantly from Mourvèdre (85%), the 2021 Red Bandol expresses the full power of Terrebrune’s limestone soils. Concentrated and ripe, it reveals aromas of graphite, licorice, and flowers, with delicate hints of bay leaf and wild blackberries on the nose. The wine exudes class and finesse naturally. With a dense, juicy profile, it is aged with careful attention, enhancing its nuanced spice notes and supported by very fine tannins. This velvety wine is ready to drink now, offering a sophisticated Bandol that is seductive and will remain enjoyable for the next 10 years and beyond. Decant to smooth the tannins and fully open the wine’s complexity. Rated 96/100 by the RVF Guide (Revue du Vin de France).

Vinification:

Hand harvested, macerated for 2 to 3 weeks with daily pumping over, aged for 18 months in oak tuns in an underground cellar.
