The 2021 red Crozes-Hermitage Grand Classique offers a crisp maturity with delicate smoky-bacon notes and subtle oak. The palate is well-tensed, fine, and pleasantly fruity, with a nice fresh finish. Very accessible today, with a slight toasted note, this Syrah pairs well with white meat or a veal chop, for example.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Total destemming, traditional fermentation in stainless steel and temperature-controlled concrete vats. Vatting for 15 to 20 days. Aged 70% in vats for 9 to 12 months and 30% in 400-liter oak barrels.Color:
