With finesse and sobriety, the 2021 red Châteauneuf-du-Pape displays exceptional elegance and delightful definition, featuring precise, well-ripened fruit and a delicate, harmonious texture that distinguishes it from richer vintages. Dominated by Grenache, it offers abundant floral and spicy notes, a velvety mouthfeel, and well-integrated tannins. Everything is expertly managed, exuding freshness and indulgence. Hand harvested and sorted on the vine. 80% de-stemming, 21 to 28-day maceration with daily manual punching of the cap. Aged for 12 months, 80% in foudres and 20% in barrels, 1/3 of which are new.
