The 2022 Red Crozes-Hermitage Clos des Grives is a beautifully defined, structured, and complex wine, shaped by an outstanding vintage and 70-year-old vines rooted in limestone and rounded pebbles. Its perfectly balanced aromas of ripe yet fresh fruit unfold in a rich, concentrated texture with impressive volume. A subtle touch of oak aging adds depth and will integrate seamlessly over time. With its depth, finesse, generosity, and balance, this is a benchmark Northern Rhône cuvée—built to age gracefully. Rated 95/100 by the French wine guide RVF.Vinification:
Hand harvested with selective sorting. Monopole, single plot, clay-limestone plateau with rounded pebbles, 60-year-old vines. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Aged for 12 months in Burgundy barrels (new to 3 years old). Aged for a further 12 months in bottles.Organic farming on the estate since 1969.
