A defining figure of Rasteau, André Roméro has elevated La Soumade to the pinnacle of the Rhône Valley. Today, his son Frédéric, guided by Stéphane Derenoncourt’s team, carries on the legacy, crafting wines that are deeply coloured, complex, and intensely aromatic, showcasing the full expression of their terroir.
These bold, powerful, and generously textured cuvées, packed with ripe fruit, stand unrivalled in the appellation. A truly distinctive style in the Rhône Valley—not to be missed!
