Wine:

Delicate and floral in style, the 2022 Red Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Clos du Calvaire unveils subtle notes of peony, potpourri, and rose, accented by a graceful hint of oriental spice. This finesse carries through to the palate, which offers a generous yet structured texture, showcasing ripeness with precision. Beautifully balanced and free of excess, it delights with its refined flavours and expert craftsmanship. A favourite of Olivier Poussier, rated 93/100 and 94/100 by RVF.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in 20 kg crates. Maceration for 20 to 25 days in concrete vats. Aged for 12 months in vats.

Color:

Intense, brilliant ruby red.

Nose:

A broad, complex aromatic profile with floral notes of peony, wilted rose and an oriental touch.

Palate:

Graceful and elegant, this cuvée boasts a broad yet refined texture, with a juicy profile perfectly balanced in every aspect.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
