Wine:

Exclusively reserved for our members, the 2021 Red Syrah Les Collines Vin de France is a bespoke creation by Stéphane Ogier. The nose reveals ripe aromas of macerated and slightly candied fruits, showcasing a warm, southern character. The palate offers a dense, concentrated texture, with structured yet smooth tannins, balanced by a refreshing finish. Blind-tasted, this wine would surprise many given its incredible value! Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, aged 12 months in oak barrels.

Color:

Dark carmine red with garnet highlights.

Nose:

A rich and ripe Syrah with notes of stewed and lightly candied fruits, capturing the warm southern spirit.

Palate:

This fresh wine is dense and concentrated, with slightly raised, elegantly coated tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Grilled red and white meats, mitre with shallots, oven-roasted free-range chicken.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2028, and even longer for enthusiasts.
