Wine:

The 2022 white Condrieu expresses ripe Viognier, framed by an oaky ageing process that supports it without constraint, in a floral and yellow-fruit profile. On the palate, Tardieu's style shines through, with generous curves, assertive ripeness and a seductive breeding of licorice and butterscotch flavors. A delightful accompaniment to a truffle brouillade, for example. Rated 93/100 by the committee.

From now until 2029, and even longer for enthusiasts.

Founded in the early 1990s by Michel Tardieu and Dominique Laurent, Tardieu-Laurent has become one of the premier micro-négociants in the Rhône Valley, a sought-after and envied address awarded 2 stars by the RVF Guide.

With their uncompromising and high-quality vision, Bastien and Michel Tardieu continue their quest today, meticulously scouring the vineyard to identify the best terroirs and select the finest grapes, typically from very old vines and often located in the historic heart of each appellation.

Their expertise in aging has built their reputation, revealing generous and precisely defined wines through the use of large barrels, whole-cluster fermentation, and especially measured aging processes.
