Made from the Roussanne grape variety, the 2023 White Vin de Savoie Chignin-Bergeron Les Cerisiers is an outstanding wine. It opens with ripe apricot and delicate floral notes, displaying a refined yet vibrant character. On the palate, it has a generous, silky texture with an impressive finish. Selected as a favorite by the Selection Committee and endorsed by Best Sommelier in the World, Olivier Poussier, with a 93/100 rating.Vinification:
Hand-harvested when the Roussanne grapes reach optimum ripeness. Slow, gentle pressing. Vinification without sulphur and using indigenous yeasts. Fermentation in vats and barrels. Aged on fine lees for 8 to 12 months, 80% in stainless steel vats and 20% in demi-muid.The estate is HVE Level III certified.
