The 2020 Red Cahors Le Gamotin delivers a gourmet and joyful reading of the Cahors appellation. A way of approaching the malbec grape variety in its youth, around a fresh and dashing nose of beautiful maturity, without any woody undertones. A juicy, full and elegant palate completes this complex profile, which boasts supple and soft tannins. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.Vinification:
Hand harvested from a selected plot of Clos de Gamot. Clay-limestone soil with pebbles, flint and red clay bands. Fermentation of 21 days in vats, gentle pumping over. Aged 18 to 24 months in tuns and demi-muids. Bottled at the estate. Diam 3 cork.Color:
