Wine:

Infused and delicate Grenache, the 2020 Red Cariñena Mancuso Garnacha opens with a pure, floral nose of peony and stone fruits, offering a warm and inviting bouquet. Born from high-altitude terroirs, with 50-60 year-old vines and low yields, it delivers a powerful juice with a silky texture and velvety tannins. This is a rich and profound wine, perfect for pairing with ribeye steak or spiced marinated meats. One of the highest quality Grenaches in the region! Rated 93+/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. 40% whole grapes. Vinification in open stainless-steel vats with 24- to 48-hour cold maceration. Fermentation for 40 days with gentle pumping-over. Aged for 12 months, 65% in concrete vats and 35% in 500-liter French oak barrels.

Color:

Intense dark red with vermilion highlights.

Nose:

Pure and floral with aromas of peony, stone fruit and warm, finely spiced notes.

Palate:

Powerful, between silk and velvet in texture, with delicate, soft tannins and a persistent structure.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

A rib of beef marinated in spices (bay leaf, turmeric, paprika), duck breast lacquered in soy sauce.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2031
