Wine:

A Selection Committee favorite, scoring 92/100, the 2021 white Cutio Carinena Macabeo is an enchanting white wine—pure, fresh, and aromatic. As it breathes, it reveals lovely notes of herbal tea, delicate honey, and a subtle, pure mineral and smoky touch, characteristic of these schist terroirs. The palate is graceful, concentrated, and refreshingly persistent. This delightful white is perfect as an aperitif or served alongside paella, grilled langoustines, or seafood. It also received a 92/100 rating from Parker.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, cold fermentation in stainless steel vats for 7 days. Aged on fine lees in concrete vats for 10 months.

Intense golden yellow.

Nose:

Ripe and comforting, the nose reveals herbal infusion aromas, subtle melliferous notes underlined by pure mineral touches.

Palate:

Chiseled, graceful and concentrated with crisp fruit. The palate is suave and fresh, with persistent, thirst-quenching length.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C in a large glass.

As an aperitif, paella, grilled langoustines, grilled seafood a la plancha, artichokes à la juive.
