Wine:

Made from Macabeo, the 2022 White Cutio Macabeo-Cariñena is a charming, pure, and expressive wine. The influence of its schist terroir is evident in its notes of warm stone, herbal infusions, and white flowers. On the palate, it is finely chiseled, fresh, and refreshing, yet remains smooth and full-bodied, with a long, elegant finish. This is a complex and nuanced white, perfect with grilled fish, paella, or seafood.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, cold fermentation in stainless steel vats for 7 days. Aged on fine lees in concrete vats for 10 months.

Color:

Bright golden yellow.

Nose:

Delicate aromas of white fruit, fennel and star anise underlined by mineral hints of gunflint.

Palate:

The palate is broad, offering a generous expression of Macabeo, lifted by a touch of refreshing acidity. The perfect balance of quality and value.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C in a large glass.
