Wine:

Blended from over 20 different vintages and made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs, the Grand Cru Cuvée de Réserve Blanc de Blancs Champagne is a truly remarkable wine, offering immense pleasure and precision. The nose is delicately floral, with notes of almond and fresh bread, opening the tasting with elegance and finesse at a perfect level of maturity. This Champagne has exceptional definition, showcasing an unmistakable chalky character, with a rich, creamy bubble and citrus notes, leading to a saline, refreshingly crisp finish. The epitome of a distinguished Blanc de Blancs!

Vinification:

Hand harvested. 2019 base for around 50% clear wines from all the estate's Côte des Blancs Chardonnay plots, with the remaining 50% made from perpetual reserve wine from 1988 to 2018, using the Soléra method. Temperature-controlled fermentation in small stainless steel vats. Aged on fine lees. Bottled on 03/04/2020 and stored in the cellar for a second fermentation and slow maturation. Disgorging on 21/06/2022, addition of a small amount of liqueur de dosage and corking. Dosage: 6.5 g/l (Brut)

Temperature:

Serve between 8 and 10°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitifs, cocktail dinners, seafood, shellfish, sea bass carpaccio, sole a la plancha.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2028, and even longer for enthusiasts.

Rodolphe Péters, one of the greatest Chardonnay stylists, crafts perfectionist cuvées with uncompromising precision at Champagne Pierre Péters, showing metronomic consistency.

We are die-hard fans of this unapologetically pure style, which brings the chalky terroir of Champagne to life like never before! Every cuvée is a stunning revelation, offering a bold expression of purity, elegance, and saline character.

With a remarkable vineyard heritage—primarily Grand Cru from Mesnil-sur-Oger—and flawless winemaking, these wines capture the very essence of this unique terroir. Becoming part of this exclusive circle is increasingly challenging, as the estate remains both highly sought-after and discreet, exporting the majority of its production.
