Wine:

The 2020 Red Ribeira Sacra Finca Meixeman, predominantly made from Mencia, offers remarkable clarity and balance. Delicate floral notes and fresh herbal nuances are complemented by a touch of oak that adds subtle depth without overpowering. With refined tannins and an elegant structure, this wine retains its Mediterranean character, delivering a beautifully perfumed profile that is already a pleasure to drink. Rated 94/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Vines located between 350 and 450m altitude and around 70 years old. Hand-harvested. Traditional vinification. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Color:

Garnet red with purplish highlights.

Nose:

Rich and powerful, with very ripe, concentrated red and black fruits.

Palate:

The palate is juicy and generous, with a sun-ripened character and a smooth texture supported by plentiful, silky tannins. Spicy undertones add depth to this approachable and convivial wine, making it a pleasure to enjoy in good company.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Artisanal Iberian charcuterie, veal carpaccio, caramelized ribs, porcini risotto, cheeses, Manchego.
