The Montrachet is quite simply the greatest white wine on the planet. It is the most distinguished and the most powerful expression of the noble Chardonnay grape. Its aura is such that the wine is personified. We talk about « Montrachet, himself». And « He » knows no equivalent. This is the one, single, pinnacle of the white wine world. There are only 8 hectares of Montrachet shared between very few owners. The wine that we are offering you today, is an absolute treasure bearing the signature of Louis Jadot, one of the greatest Beaune Wine Houses.Vinification:
Alcoholic fermentation in oak casks, followed by aging for 18 to 20 months before bottling.Color:
Clear, bright, sustained golden yellow colour.Nose:
Subtle and unctuous on the nose, aromas of verbena, white-fleshed fruit, spices and sliced mushrooms.Palate:
Full on the palate, fairly fat but perfectly well balanced by the acidity. Very distinguished, it will get better and better with aging.

Serve between 11 and 13°C.Food and wine pairing:
