Wine:
Grown on intensely rocky granite soils and sourced from the oldest Syrah vines in the appellation, the 2021 Red Saint-Joseph Les Granits captures the pure essence of its terroir. After long macerations, it is aged in oak for 18 months, developing remarkable depth and structure. This is a concentrated, smoky Syrah with intense black fruit notes and exceptional length. In this more classic vintage, it also showcases an added layer of finesse.Vinification:
Fully destemmed, hand harvested when fully ripe. Slow fermentation in small concrete vats. Aged in barrels (new barrels and barrels used for 1 to 2 wines) for 16 to 18 months.Certified organic and biodynamic wine.
