Olivier Poussier's favorite, rated 93/100 Parker, the 2017 Red Ermitage Les Dionnières is simply perfect. It is a great Ermitage, beautifully built around rich notes of juicy cherry, mocha, spice and violet. Its creamy tannins, its perfectly controlled power, tamed by a beautiful freshness, propel a dense, concentrated palate, of very long persistence. A wine certified AB and in conversion to biodynamics.Vinification:
Grapes are totally destemmed, vinification in concrete vats for about 4 weeks (depending on the vintage), extraction by pumping over and punching down. Aged in oak barrels for 14 to 18 months depending on the vintage (20 to 30% in new barrels). Organic wine, certified.Color:
