Wine:

With a beautiful freshness, the 2020 Red Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Sinards delivers itself around notes of black fruits, thyme and laurel, with an extremely pleasant southern character. The digestible, sapid and fresh palate is just as convincing. A very nice bottle to keep, to be reserved for a veal chop or duck aiguillettes for example. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested by grape variety. Vinification of part of the Syrah in whole bunches, the other part, the Grenache and Mourvèdre de-stemmed. Fermentation in truncated wooden vats for the Mourvèdre and Syrah and in traditional concrete and enamelled stoneware vats for the Grenache. Blending of the different grape varieties. Aged in tuns for 2 years.
Wine made from young vines of Beaucastel and from vines in farming. Terroir composed of Miocene marine molasse covered by alpine diluvium (rolled pebbles). A parcel located on urgonian limestone.

Intense and brilliant red.

Nose:

Greedy aromas of black fruits mixed with notes of thyme and laurel.

Palate:

Fresh and sapid, let yourself be seduced by this pleasant and tasty wine.

Temperature:

To be served slightly chilled between 15 and 17°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Hare à la royale, game, shoulder of lamb, oxtail stew with red wine.
