A fine expression of Piedmont, the 2021 Red Barbaresco offers an accessible and charming take on this renowned appellation. True to its Nebbiolo roots, it reveals aromas of morello cherry, blood orange, spices, and a subtle smoky touch. The tightly knit palate features firm tannins surrounding delicate, refined fruit flavors. Seductive and sapid, it finishes with finesse and balance—a true "iron fist in a velvet glove." Best decanted before serving, it pairs beautifully with red meat, whether grilled or slow-cooked, such as osso buco with a hint of spice. Enjoy over the next five to eight years.
