Wine:
With unstoppable class, the 2021 white Alsace Grand Cru Riesling Sommerberg gently asserts itself, unfolding its complexity as the tasting progresses. The mineral expression of the Riesling combined with the granite terroir of the Sommerberg create a wine of the highest order, with a fresh, pure nose of floral notes, cardamom and fresh ginger; the concentrated, ripe, tight, very saline palate always carries this insistent mineral accent, without ever falling into the varietal register. A grandiose balance, skilfully mastered, that rapidly builds in power and becomes explosive on the finish. A great potential is emerging, to rally in a few years fish, lobster or crayfish.
