Wine:
From three superb limestone terroirs around Turckheim and Katzenthal, the 2020 white Alsace Gewurztraminer Réserve Blanc opens with fine, voluptuous perfumes of rose and lychee, in a ripe, pure ensemble. It's an invitation to travel, an essence of exoticism that wears with rapture, developing a beautiful richness of constitution, of accomplished maturity. What balance and, above all, what intensity! For this white wine is not lacking in natural acidity, and never overripe: a balance on the edge, far from any varietal expression. A guaranteed change of scenery with Asian cuisine, foie gras and mango chutney or mature Comté cheese. Rated 94/100 by the Committee.Vinification:
