AWARDS

Robert Parker: 96/100

Wine:

The 2017 Red Southern Australia Grange is a 100% Syrah for only the 7th time in its history and delivers yet another monument of power and concentration. Aged exclusively in American oak barrels, it opens with a touch of cedar and vanilla, with beautiful aromas of black fruits, notably cassis. The palate continues this dense, ripe, and generous register with an almost creamy texture, silky tannins, lots of freshness, and, most of all, great persistence. Its potential is, of course, phenomenal, the question is just to know if the wine will last 30 or 40 years... ! Rated 96/100 by Parker.

This is the 7th vintage to be composed of 100% Syrah. Hand harvested. Traditional vinification. Aged in new American oak demi-muids.

A true aromatic bouquet evoking aromas of black and red fruits with spicy accents of sandalwood, cumin, and vanilla.
