Made from equal parts Sauvignon and Semillon, the 2019 white Pessac-Léognan Lagrave Martillac takes full advantage of this very fine vintage in which heat and freshness were perfectly balanced in the early days of September. The result is an expressive and complex white wine, with aromas of fresh grapes, ripe citrus and verbena. The palate is full-bodied, round, and juicy with a zesty finish. A radiant white wine to be enjoyed today with grilled fish.Vinification:
Hand harvested, alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels.Aged for 7 months on the lees in French oak barrels, of which 20% is new wood.
