Wine:

On an aromatic register still primary at this stage, with hints of licorice and balsamic, the 2019 Red Pessac-Léognan Pessac by VALAP unfolds a suave palate with a rather fine and delicate style. Its roundness, its pure and well-designed flavors of fruit, and its supple tannins form a very nice, medium-bodied Pessac wine. A bottle to serve with roasted poultry or a rack of veal with thyme.

Vinification:

Mechanical harvesting. Vinification 100% in vats. No ageing.

Color:

Deep garnet red with brilliant reflections.

Nose:

Still primary aromatic with hints of licorice and balsamic mixed with notes of violet and red fruits.

Palate:

Round, full-bodied and smooth with pure and precise flavors of fruit.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roasted poultry, rack of veal with thyme, spicy lamb mouse.

From now until 2027
