The 2017 Château Pey La Tour Réserve is clearly on the right side of the Bordeaux Rive Droite, driven by a radiant Merlot. The notes of red and black fruits, the supple yet consistent palate, and the overall balance deliver a very comfortable wine combining freshness, energy, and aromatic persistence. Unquestionably the qualities of a great Bordeaux with already a lot of harmony! A bottle to open in all circumstances!Vinification:
Mechanical harvesting. Traditional vinification, in separate batches, in stainless steel tanks. Partial maturation on lees, in separate batches, in French oak barrels for 12 to 15 months.Color:
