Wine:

Exceptionally rich, the 2015 Sauternes offers a delicate bouquet of mango, passion fruit, saffron, nectarine, and dried apricot, all wrapped in a beautifully voluminous palate. Utterly captivating, it balances exceptional concentration with vibrant energy, elegantly framed by refined, silky oak.

This is one of the most authentic expressions of Sauternes, finishing with notes of candied citrus and a subtle hint of saffron. A wine of great sophistication, perfect with foie gras, blue cheeses, or citrus-based desserts.

Vinification:

Hand harvested on 5 successive selections, aged 20% in new barrels, 80% in old barrels for 16 months.
Residual sugar : 135 g/l.

Color:

Yellow with golden-orange nuances, sustained and brilliant.

Nose:

Subtle aromas of mango, passion fruit, nectarine, and dried apricot, enhanced by a delicate hint of saffron.

Palate:

This cuvée is extraordinarily rich, with bold, expressive flavours. Utterly captivating, it combines exceptional concentration with vibrant energy, perfectly balanced by refined, silky oak. The finish delights with notes of candied citrus and saffron—a truly remarkable wine.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Peking duck with spices, roasted Bresse poultry, blue-veined cheese, citrus dessert, fine mango pie.

This special vintage, a product of a taste collaboration at the highest levels, will meet the loftiest expectations. Pierre Montégut, the technical director of the Château, and Olivier Poussier, the world's top sommelier, combined their expertise to create the pinnacle of the Sauternes appellation in this exclusive vintage.

The plots, with old vines ranging between 50 and 60 years old and grown on gravel and clay soils, give this vintage an exceptional stature, melding aromatic intensity and remarkable concentration. This wine stands out for its complexity and exquisite refinement, ensuring its place in history.
