Wine:

Adorned with luxurious oak notes and beautiful floral undertones, the 2022 white Chassagne-Montrachet is a wine with great potential, best kept in the cellar for a bit longer. Its current oak influence blends with significant power, impressive volume, and refreshing acidity, promising a harmonious integration of its noble aging. This bottle will benefit from an additional one to two years in the cellar to reach its full potential.

Vinification:

Hand harvested from August 30 to September 13, 2022. 3 plots selected from Chassagne-Montrachet winemakers, located in the heart of the Village, bordering the Premiers Crus and ideally facing South-East and South-West. Aged in oak barrels.

Color:

Bright, shiny gold.

Nose:

Still very young, with a luxurious, oaky profile surrounded by beautiful floral notes.

Palate:

It's a wine in the making, with present maturation and licorice notes, which combines great power, volume and freshness that should allow this noble maturation to be assimilated. A bottle to be matured 1 to 2 years in the cellar to enjoy to the full.

Temperature:

Decant 1 hour before serving between 10 and 12°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Foie gras, crayfish fricassee, scallop risotto with saffron, grilled fish, veal blanquette with early vegetables, cheeses: Époisses, Roquefort, Munster.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2030, and even longer for enthusiasts.
