Wine:

Blended from three plots at an elevation of 230 meters and matured with a third new wood, the Rully Rouge 2021 showcases the finesse and crispness of a fine Pinot, with the freshness and precision of this taut and particularly appetizing vintage. It's a pure, fruit-forward juice with a noble texture, fine tannins, and a savory finish. A splendid introduction to the world of Rully.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Aged in 19th-century cellars: 12 months in oak barrels, 33% of which are new, with malolactic fermentation, then 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

Color:

Bright red with vermilion highlights.

Nose:

A fresh, nicely mature Pinot with red fruit aromas.

Palate:

Fresh and delicious, this precise cuvée delivers a palate with fine tannins, good sapidity and great finesse.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Red tuna carpaccio, roasted Bresse poularde, aged Normandy camembert.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2030, and even longer for enthusiasts.
