A quintessential example of a Premier Cru with outstanding potential, the 2022 Beaune Premier Cru Toussaints Red delivers a full and expressive interpretation of Pinot Noir. The perfectly ripened bouquet showcases well-extracted fruit, complemented by subtle hints of oak, black fruits, and a touch of liquorice. While still youthful, the palate reveals a smooth, concentrated structure that hints at the wine's impressive future. A true benchmark for Beaune Pinot Noir.Vinification:
Manual harvesting with sorting both in the vineyard and at the winery. A 0.77 ha parcel planted in 1969. Traditional vinification in open vats, with 100% destemmed grapes, no added yeast, 100% indigenous yeasts, and one punch-down or pump-over per day. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 30% new, with slow malolactic fermentation, no racking, and bottled by gravity without fining or filtration.Certified organic wine.
