Wine:

The 2023 White Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey is a beautifully ripe Chardonnay, both complex and elegant. With partial aging in oak that remains subtle, it opens with a fresh, iodine-laced profile, layered with concentration and a delicate hint of honey. The palate mirrors this aromatic imprint, delivering a lively, mineral-driven, and exceptionally crisp expression. A standout of the vintage, this wine has a 10-year aging potential and is a perfect match for fine seafood or shellfish. A Selection Committee favorite, rated 93-94/100.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification over 8 months, 70% in stainless steel vats and 30% in oak barrels, alcoholic fermentation at a controlled low temperature (18°C) and malolactic fermentation carried out. Aged for 7 months in stainless steel vats.

Certified organic wine.
