At the heart of the eponymous climate, the 2022 white Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières Blanc benefits from top-notch clay-limestone soils that lend the wines their persistence and their tense, mineral profile. Aging half of it in new barrels perfectly complements this fresh and impactful register, coating the palate just right and preparing it for long-term aging, from 10 to 20 years.
