Wine:

The 2022 White Meursault Sous la Velle is a quintessential example of the appellation, a refined and subtle Chardonnay with delicate toasted notes from its aging, sourced from a parcel south of the village. Precise and elegant, it showcases the vintage's beautiful ripeness, with hints of brioche, white fruits, and light floral aromas. It is expected to gain richness and texture over time. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, direct-pressed and placed in French oak barrels for fermentation.
Aged in barrels for 12 to 15 months, with regular stirring of the lees.

Color:

Bright, light golden yellow.

Nose:

Aromas of white fruit, peach and white flowers underlined by notes of vanilla and brioche.

Palate:

Refined and precise, with vibrant flavours and subtle toasted notes, this cuvée promises to evolve beautifully with time. Patience will be rewarded.

Serve between 10 and 12°C.
