A native of the region and established since 2007 in the Aniane sector at the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac, Pierre Vaïsse is now a recognized and appreciated figure among wine enthusiasts, following in the tradition of farmer-winemakers.
His organically cultivated vineyard, built up over the years through hard work and patience, now spans 18 hectares on the pebbly, clay, and limestone soils of the area. Inspired by his friends Laurent Vaillé (La Grange des Pères) and Frédéric Pourtalié (Moncalmès), Pierre Vaïsse produces deep wines that combine flesh and smoothness, with creamy and velvety textures enhanced by long aging processes.
