One of the most legendary estates in the Languedoc, Domaine de la Grange des Pères is among the most coveted and speculative wines in all of France. Since its first vintage in 1992, Laurent Vaillé, who sadly passed away in 2021, crafted an unparalleled and impressive legacy.
An instinctive and talented winemaker, mentored by Chave, Coche-Dury, and Eloi Dürrbach (of Trévallon), Vaillé shaped wines in his own image, inspired by the giants of the field and practicing a viticulture of patience and attentiveness.
Entirely dedicated to his vineyard and the wines from the high-altitude parcels of the Arboussas massif, Vaillé forged a unique style based on relentless hard work, precise aging, and an uncompromising pursuit of perfection.
Today, his wines age beautifully and have earned a place in the pantheon of French, and even global, viticulture. Highly sought-after and incredibly coveted, they are commanding unprecedented demand—especially since the estate does not host visitors and has nothing available for sale directly!
