Wine:

A single-vineyard cuvée, the 2020 Red Saumur-Champigny Montée des Roches is a beautifully concentrated Cabernet Franc, sourced from 45-year-old vines. With its velvety texture, abundant fruit, and subtly integrated oak – a testament to masterfully controlled aging – this wine is both deep and subtle. It is ready to enchant today after decanting, or it can be cellared for another decade.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested. Aged for 12 months in 2- to 3-wine barrels and concrete eggs.

Bright red.

Nose:

Abundant red and black fruit aromas.

Palate:

Ample and velvety, with full, ripe fruit. Supported by perfectly controlled ageing, this cuvée offers a deep, subtle wine of fine concentration.

Temperature:

Decant and serve slightly chilled, between 14 and 16°C.
