Wine:
From prime parcels on highly calcareous caillottes soils, the 2023 White Osmoze Sancerre has been awarded 93/100 by the Selection Committee. With a pure, floral Sauvignon nose and a hint of minerality, it’s a perfect example of the appellation. The palate is precise, crisp, and refreshing—ideal for pairing with raw or grilled fish. A dependable choice, it has rightly earned its first star in the 2025 RVF Guide. Excellence like this is no coincidence!Vinification:
Hand-harvested from the terroirs of Amigny, Chavignol, Sancerre, and Verdigny, the grapes undergo a gentle and extended pneumatic pressing, followed by a rigorous settling process. Neutral selected yeasts are used for fermentation, which takes place in concrete and stainless steel tanks, with aging on fine lees for about 12 months. The result is a dry wine. The wine is fined and filtered before bottling.A thoughtful and sustainable approach is taken, avoiding the use of insecticides, acaricides, anti-rot treatments, and herbicides, with a tendency towards organic practices.
